Our members receive regular updates about our upcoming events, discounts on tickets and refreshments, access to a variety of exclusive opportunities including members-only events, and are also invited to attend our AGMs, where they can vote on important strategic decisions.

Whether you are a performer, an artist, a crafter, a film maker, or someone who simply loves volunteering and supporting the local community, The Hive offer a range of opportunities from artisan markets, to concerts and festivals, to cinema nights, to volunteering roles.
EVENT ORGANISATION
The Hive has vast experience in organising and managing a large spectrum of events, from small coffee mornings to town-wide festivals and everything in-between.

Whether you're looking to get involved with volunteering at one of our events, or just in search of some guidance for an event you're hosting in our community space, our team are on hand to support you through the whole process.
EDUCATIONAL PROJECTS AND PARTNERS
For several years, The Hive has partnered with local schools and colleges to offer students the opportunity to get involved with various festivals and events across the town, either by means of performing, creating artwork, or helping the event run smoothly.

With the newly refurbished Hive building becoming available for community use, we hope to provide our educational partners with even more opportunities and facilities in which to enhance their students' learning, teaching them invaluable new skills and hands-on experience which will open the doors to a variety of creative careers.
